Who we are
I’m a science writer, strategist, and facilitator who helps organizations make sense of complexity. Through Snair Strategies, I work with clients across health, science, and policy to translate evidence into clear insights, align diverse perspectives, and move ideas into action.
For 15 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of public health, research, and policy—first as a preparedness coordinator in Massachusetts, then as a senior program officer at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, and then as an independent consultant and co-founder of SGNL Solutions. My projects have spanned topics from disaster planning and social determinants of health to global health policy and health system transformation. No matter the issue, my role is often the same: to bring structure to big ideas, bridge disciplines, and help teams find shared language and direction.
I’m particularly drawn to projects that require both analytical rigor and creative synthesis—where the goal is not just to communicate information, but to connect the dots between evidence, people, and purpose. This can mean translating technical science into accessible narratives, facilitating meetings that balance ambition with practicality, or developing white papers and reports that help leaders see the path forward.
My strength lies in connecting insights across disciplines and shaping them into coherent, actionable strategies. While my background is rooted in health and public policy, the tools I bring—clarity, facilitation, synthesis—apply anywhere complex ideas and competing priorities meet.
I hold a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Boston University and a B.S. in Biophysics from St. Lawrence University and when not working I love to run, hike, and ski with my husband and 3 boys in Colorado.
